Recruitment Request
ASK will:
- Skills match and screen suitable registered jobseekers
- Forward resumes of job seekers including jobseekers who are eligible for wage assistance to the employer.
Information Sessions (where applicable)
Upon reviewing the resumes and deciding upon the job seekers the employer like to consider further, ASK will:
- Arrange for the selected applicants to attend an ‘information session’ which will be held at the employer premises or at an ASK venue,
- Assist with the facilitation of the information sessions, ensuring job seekers are informed of the specific type of work they will be undertaking should they secure a position, and recording job seekers attendance details.
Interviews
Upon the employer advising ASK of the job seekers they wish to interview and the dates interviews are to be held, ASK will:
- Advise job seekers of the dates and times, and forward confirmed interview schedules to the employer.
Successful Applicants - Training
Upon the employer advising which job seekers have been successful, ASK will:
- Book job seekers in for appropriate training where required
- Advise the employer in writing of the job seekers successful completion of training.
Successful Applicants – Post Placement Support
Upon the successful applicants commencing work, ASK will:
- Remain in contact with the job seeker for a period of six months; and
- Liaise with the employer as required on the progress of each job seeker.
